In late 2023, Comptronic took new steps in its sustainability journey. We needed to achieve third-party certification for quality and environment while also strengthening our organization. Moving into a modern office space with Vasakronan in central Stockholm became an important part of the solution. The central location reduced our need for car travel and provided easy access to public transportation and services within walking distance.
Through our collaboration with Vasakronan, we benefit from renewable electricity certified with the “Good Environmental Choice” label, energy-efficient heating, and a well-functioning system for recycling and logistics support. The building is already certified according to the global environmental certification system LEED at Silver level, and Vasakronan is now working purposefully toward achieving Gold. A LEED certification is an international mark of quality, proving that a building meets high standards in sustainable design, construction, operation, and maintenance. This strengthens our efforts toward climate neutrality by 2030 and contributes to a more sustainable everyday life.
At the same time, Comptronic continues to provide long-lasting and energy-efficient components – from high-efficiency power supplies to sensors with extremely low energy consumption. Our European suppliers and modular solutions help reduce losses, extend product lifetimes, and enable easier service for our customers. In this way, we make a difference both within our own operations and in those of our customers.
Comptronic has established and applied a management system according to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015
