Comptronic represents a number of specialised manufacturers of electronic components within, among others, power electronics, RF and microwave, sensor technology, and frequency control. Below you will find an overview of the component areas we work within.

Power electronics
Comptronic offers isolated DC-DC modules from 4 to 500 W for demanding industrial and defence applications. The range also includes AC-DC modules and Power supply unit.
For power electronic constructions, we supply discrete Power semiconductor and effects modules from Sanrex, including MOSFETs, SiC components, diodes, Schottky diodes, Rectifier bridges, Thyristors and IGBT modules.
The range is supplemented with protective components such as TVS diodes, MOV varistors and gas discharge tube (GDT) that protects against transients and surges.
We also deliver Pulse transformers, SMPS transformers and Printed circuit board mounting current transformers. At higher power levels, typically 2–20 kW, the transformers are connected to circuit boards via cabling or copper busbars.
As energy storage and filter components, we offer power capacitors, primarily aluminium electrolytic capacitors and Polypropylene film capacitors, suitable for DC link, snubber and Filter applications.

Capacitors
We offer Capacitors with different dielectrics for everything from signal and filter applications to demanding power and high-voltage environments. Polypropylene is used in DC link and snubber circuits in power electronics, while polyester is suitable for filtering and signal circuits. Paper and oil-filled capacitors are used in high-voltage and energy storage applications. Ceramic capacitors suitable for HF and RF applications, aluminium electrolytics for bulk energy storage in power supplies, and mica and special dielectrics for highly stable RF and microwave circuits.

Frequency control
Comptronic offers crystal-based oscillators with a very high Q-factor, resulting in low phase noise close to the carrier and thus very stable reference frequencies for demanding electronic systems.
The programme includes Kisses and hugs, Voltage-controlled crystal oscillator, TCXO and OCXO for applications in telecommunications, industry, defence and test equipment.
For low power consumption and precise timekeeping, we also offer Crystals and oscillators for real-time clocks (RTC), based on 32.768 kHz.

RF & Microwave
Comptronic offers high-performance RF and microwave components from leading manufacturers such as Mtron and Synergy Microwave. The range includes, among others RF filter from Mtron, including LC filter, Cavity filter and Planar filter solutions for selective signal filtering in demanding systems. From Synergy Microwave, we supply, among other things Voltage-controlled oscillators (VCO), PLL-based frequency synthesizers, Frequency multipliers, Frequency divider and other modules for stable frequency generation and signal processing. The solutions are used in telecom, radar, test and measurement equipment, and other advanced RF systems where low phase noise, high selectivity, and good stability are crucial.

Inductive components
Sirio manufactures high-quality transformers and inductors based on E-cores in a highly automated production in Northern Italy, while also offering customisation. The company is particularly strong in Pulse transformers and SMPS transformers for high switching frequencies, where requirements for isolation and partial discharges must be met.
The programme also includes Line frequency current transformers, intended for the measurement of AC currents up to 600 Arms, as well as high-precision current transformers for RMS and peak value measurement, waveform analysis and monitoring of harmonic content.
For higher performances, Sirio develops Customised solutions based on E-cores and planar transformers in the 2–20 kW range.

Magnetic transducer
Magnetron sensors based on reed switches are reliable sensors for detecting position or magnetic fields. They are activated by a permanent magnet and function as a passive, mechanical contact with no power consumption, making them ideal in energy-sensitive applications. Despite their size, they can handle up to approximately 0.5–2 A and 10–100 W. The hermetic glass encapsulation provides high isolation and protection against dust, moisture, and corrosion.

Piezoelectric sound transducers and loudspeakers
Comptronic offers piezoelectric sound transducers and speakers for both industrial and commercial applications, including outdoor environments. We also project manage customised development in close collaboration between the customer and manufacturer, where parameters such as sound level, frequency range, housing, sealing, and connection are adapted to the application's requirements. The solutions are used, for example, in speaking alarms, warning systems and other equipment where high reliability and clear sound signals are crucial.
